We determine valid comparison parameters for hit patterns by carrying out the correct statistical analysis. We also focus on determining, if a hit pattern points to some underlying systematic error.
We are working on topics of barrel friction, fouling and wear. We aim to solve the associated issues concerning reliability, accuracy, and life time of small and large caliber systems.

In order to improve accuracy, we work on optimizing and improving the mounting and mass distribution of gun barrels.
PROJECTILE HEAT MODELLING
Projectiles heat up significantly during firing. These temperature increases can have serious effects on the performance of rounds.
WIND SUSCEPTIBILITY OF PROJECTILES
Especially in long range shooting, wind can severely limit performance and accuracy. In order to optimize a weapon-ammunition systems for external conditions, an in-depth knowledge of the physics involved is required.
WEAPON-AMMUNITION SYSTEM QUALIFICATION
In order to get objective feedback on the overall performance of a weapon system, we perform full or partial qualification testing according to international standards (TOP / STANAG).
